welcome

Welcome to Well Suited.

I've just recently updated the look of the site today, so if you see anything ugly, or something not styled correctly, do not fear, I will be fixing styles through the next few days.

Apart from that - enjoy the site, and thank you for visiting!

Picks of awesome.

So, recently, I have discovered some new awesome that I feel compelled to talk about. While some of these are probably not your average picks, I highly recommend all of them.. :)

And now - onto the list!

- Hi Fructose - For all you artsy fartsy types, this very cute magazine is full of very talented people who do awesome stuff. I found a previous version at Popup Gallery in Wellington, but I would assume you would be able to find it from other good magazine dealers, or if you are willing to spend your money on shipping, they do offer it on their website.

I also feel compelled to also mention that, while I want to promote this magazine and website, I do not want to promote the shitty CMS it is built on...

- Popup Gallery - I mentioned Popup Gallery just above, but this store is so awesome that it needs to have it's own bullet/dash point. It is definitely a money-sink for me, but the cute vinyl toys they have there, plus the DIY vinyl toys that you can buy are fantastic! Of course, they serve no purpose other than squee value, but that's often enough for me...

- Zombie Fluxx - This game is a very silly Beer & Pretzels game. I would recommend you mix it in with the original Fluxx to give more variation, but anybody can play this game. It's especially wonderful on the plane.

- Ginger Tom - I simply cannot get enough of this wonderful (alcoholic) Ginger Beer. While I am not an alchie (don't believe the people you hear..) it is such a delightful summer drink that you can enjoy on a sunny day on the lawn with the birds singing. It has been a while since one could do this, so it has been particularly enjoyable as of late.

- Burn Notice - How can anybody not like this show? It's got retro flavour, with action, style, guns and spies! This is one show you at least have to try. Plus, Jeffrey Donovan who plays Michael is drop-dead gorgeous.

So, enjoy these picks. I shall be back with more soon.

Also, this would not be a complete post if I didn't mention something I didn't like at the moment..

- Don't watch Top Gear Australia. It is not worth it, and I want my 45 minutes of life back after watching the first (stiff and boring) episode.

Geekiness, rejoice.

In the last week or so, I have finally gotten around to playing around with my site. Unfortunately, as life goes sometimes, I have been too busy to do much to this site, but I am planning on changing that.

So, I have a new look in place (mostly), and I now plan on making some other things work. The contact page looks awful at the moment, and I'm finding the homepage to be a bit weak as well, although I think pulling through blog entries on the homepage is now not such a silly idea.

Today has also been a very eventful geeky day. Gold and I have bought a Macbook Air together. A laptop has always been high on my geek-list, and while it may be something that I don't necessarily *need*, it is bringing you this blog post in style, and I suspect that there will be many more to come, now that I have a portable device to which I can add more content to my website efficiently.

Now I just need to get used to my hand being the mouse...
